Ashley took a swim suit sewing class at Timpview and made her and Halle Swimming suits.  She displayed them at the Fashion Show at Timpview.  Aren't they adorable!!!

Mid-Summer Night's Dream - produced and directed by Kaili

Kaili directed, arranged practices and auditions, made props and costumes and did the whole play. It was amazing. Everyone loved it!! It was a huge success!

Even though Kaili was the director a few kids dropped out at the last minute so she and some others picked up the extra parts.  She memorized her lines overnight and was a huge hit.  We loved watching her and she is a natural.

Memorial Day Weekend 2013

We rented an RV from camping world for the Memorial Week-end.  Bryan, Anne, Ashley, Kaili, and Jenny came on the trip.  The RV can sleep up to 8 so we had lots of room.

We headed for Zion's National Park early Saturday morning.  First thing when we got there we Hiked Angel's Landing.  A 5.4 mile hike.  It was awesome.

Mother's Day 2013

Mother's Day was great!  The main thing that happened was I got Skype Clinton in Hot Springs Arkansas.  He is doing great and doesn't want to talk about when he is coming home.  But he did say he wants all of us to come and get him.  Yeah!!  We will be heading out before thanksgiving.  Ashley, Kaili, and Dad may crepes with Strawberries and whipped cream.  Yummy!  Dad BBQ'ed a tri-tip steak on the grill .  The asian missionaries Elder Atwood and Elder Stevenson came over to Skype their parents.  We decided to take a walk up to Bridal Veil Falls while they were skyping.  Fun Times!!

First Swim Party of the Season 2013

We had a swim party  and invited the McKinney's and Mortensen's.  We also had Kim, Logan, Natalie, and Halle over.  We BBQ'ed hamburgers and hot dogs and heated the pool.  It was really fun and the weather was great.  I forgot to take pictures but did get a couple of Kim and Logan.

African Promise Foundation

Last Month Suzy Gillies came to our home and did a presentation on her foundation, African Promise.  It was so great and Bryan came up with the idea to give her extra money to help out.  We gave her a check and she sent me an email with pictures and letters to tell us we are sponsoring two girls in Uganda to go to school next year.   They will be attending Saint Monica's in Gulu.  You can look up the school on the internet.  It's an amazing place for vulnerable girls.  You will see their BIOs and pictures attached.
